Client Work

Client Work

Here is crump’s client work, with curated and created content for brands and small businesses.

Understory Brand kit

  • Crump was tasked with creating a logo and concept around the East Midlands’ newest gallery space. Asked to tie in to Canopy, the building’s full title, Crump came up with Understory, the lower rung of the rainforest, below the canopy.

The rings form a “Tree”, denoting growth and another connection to nature in abstract form, tieing in to the contemporary art space scene.

Canopy Launch Posters

  • In 2026, a brand new creative workspace in Leicester - Canopy - was opened. Crump was tasked with producing digital screens to advertise the launch, and promote interest in the creative sector. These screens were live in Leicester for six weeks.

Still Life Events

Poster, Social and Logo Design

  • In 2025, Still Life x Night Market was launched: a brand new social event focussed on bringing together an independent sellers market with a still life drawing event. The results were an overwhelming triumph, with record numbers in attendance to the launch event in May. Crump’s social engagement, design and photography were all universally praised. The work started back in December 2024, and after careful consideration, the minimalist profile face logo became the key part of Still Life’s brand identity. From there, Crump developed a typeface, inspired by the brushstrokes of still life painting masters such as Paul Cezanne. Posters were made specifically for the event to encourage attendees to relax and enjoy the spirit of drawing, with nods to popular culture such as 1997’s Titanic.

Night Market Logo + Posters

Got Enough Books

  • Crump created both the logo and posters for Night Market - a series of events based at Leicester Print Workshop (later LCB Depot) in which artists, traders and small businesses sell their wares. These events started in 2023 as a monthly market, but from 2024 shifted to a bi-monthly series.

The posters show Crump’s eclectic range of capabilities and inspirations when they create, including nods to subjects such as 80s MS DOS adventure video games to vintage imagery and painting.

LCB20

LCB Depot

  • In 2024, Crump was invited to create a brand kit for the celebration of LCB Depot’s twentieth anniversary “LCB20”. A playful logo, colourway, digital posters and mockups were created to celebrate LCB Depot’s growth in the creative sector as a hub for Leicester’s growing population.

Artist Profile

Rebecca Simpson

  • Multidisciplinary artist Rebecca Simpson invited Crump into their studio to produce images for social media and print magazines. Across several hours, Crump captured Simpson’s practice and the ways in which her chronic illness has affected how they work.

Publicity Photoshoot

National Opera

  • In 2023 Crump was asked to come up with a concept for Leicester band National Opera’s tour poster. This led to an intense photoshoot involving members of the band submerging themselves in freezing water and climbing unstable trees - all at 5am on a cold January morning.

Brand Kit

Got Enough Books

  • Got Enough Books is a second hand bookshop based in Leicester’s Cultural Quarter, selling select titles on creative subjects - the only second hand bookshop to do so in the Midlands.

Crump continues to collaborate and design for the shop, initially producing logos and now creating merchandise and expanding into new ranges such as "Got Enough Cooks” - the shop’s Food and Drink section.
