UNDERSTORY IDENTITY (2025-26)

Crump was tasked with creating a logo and concept around the East Midlands’ newest gallery space. Asked to tie in to Canopy, the building’s full title, Crump came up with Understory, the lower rung of the rainforest, below the canopy. The rings form a “Tree”, denoting growth and another connection to nature in abstract form, tying in to the contemporary art space scene.
